About Studio Erika de Wit

A bag on the floor never feels right.
Not in a beautiful interior. Not at a carefully set table.
That's why I design them as small objects of luxury: functional, pleasing to the eye.

I am Erika de Wit. In my studio in Ravenstein, I design and create hangers that elegantly suspend your bag and enhance your table. A compact object, crafted with the same attention as a piece of jewelry.

That attention comes from my other work. I also work in the monumental restoration field, where I gild church roosters, ornaments, and weathervanes. Work that requires a steady hand, patience, and respect for materials. This is precisely what I bring to everything I create for Tassenhangers.com.

Within my collection, I work with two lines.
The Premium Collection is handcrafted and gilded with gold leaf (24-carat) and white gold (18-carat). The construction and finishing are intensive and require a lot of patience: built up layer by layer and finished after gilding.
Additionally, there is the Classic Collection: the same look and quality as a base, but executed more simply. So there is always a hanger to suit your taste.
